        "abstract": "<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This deposit supports a study that searches for <strong>orthologs of 25 query proteins</strong> </span><span class=\"s1\">across a curated set of&nbsp;<strong>1,583 fungal organisms</strong>. The 25 query proteins were&nbsp;</span><span class=\"s1\">chosen for their roles in antimicrobial resistance, biofilm formation, human </span><span class=\"s1\">pathogenicity, radiation resistance, spore formation, and thermophilicity (listed in </span><span class=\"s1\">`proteins.csv`). For each query protein we collected orthologous sequences across the </span><span class=\"s1\">organism set; the per-organism proteomes and the per-protein ortholog collections are </span><span class=\"s1\">both provided here. The set began as a strict&nbsp;<strong>type-strain</strong>&nbsp;seed (OrthoDB + GOLD, </span><span class=\"s1\">~267 species) and was expanded with strains from other databases (type-strain </span><span class=\"s1\">requirement relaxed) &mdash; see `provenance.md`.</span></p>\n<div class=\"page\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>This work was supported in part by the NASA-funded consortium Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH), through the Caltech Space Health Innovation Fund (CSIF).</p>\n</div>\n</div>\n</div>",
