        "abstract": "We develop an array-level inverse design framework that accounts for the nonideal optical response to optimize the array configuration of reconfigurable metasurfaces. As an example, we validate this approach experimentally and demonstrate high-directivity beam steering with nonideal antenna components exhibiting a phase shift of ~220\u00b0.",
